How many tourists visit the Middle East?
The Middle East has a growing number of foreign tourists, with a surge in visitors from China, the Middle Eastern states and the United Arab Emirates, according to a new report.
It was released on Friday.
It found the Middle States and China had increased the number of visitors in 2017, with the UAE and China accounting for the lion’s share of the increase.
According to the report, the number visiting the Middle Emirates increased by a record 1.4 per cent, followed by Saudi Arabia at 0.9 per cent.
China had the largest increase in Middle East visitors, increasing by 10 per cent from 2017 to 2017.
While the Middle states and China were responsible for the most visitors, Middle East tourist numbers increased in the United States.
The Middle East is a growing destination for foreign tourists with growth in the region expected to continue, according the report.
The Middle States, which accounts for more than 90 per cent of the region’s tourism revenue, saw the largest growth, rising from 4.1 per cent in 2017 to 4.8 per cent last year.
