BULGARIA, Bulgaria — The first of Bulgaria’s new tourism attractions opened in the country’s capital Sofia on Tuesday, and the country will be on the lookout for more.
On the first day of the Bulgaria Tourist Tourism Association’s (BTVA) “Summer Tour” there were more than 200,000 visitors to the city of Bratislava.
The first tour company, Sofia Tours, was founded in the 1990s by the former mayor of Bratsk, Pavel Brat, and his wife, the city’s first female mayor, Marina.
The BTVA’s aim is to develop a tourist industry in the world’s largest country of just 10 million people.
It aims to attract foreign tourists and to create jobs in the tourism industry.
The association has more than 1,000 staff and is now expanding its service to include international students, artists, and teachers.
